PRESENTED BY 10.15 PROJECT

Some miles are bigger than running.

That’s what The 10.15 Project is all about.

The 10.15 Project is a statewide relay run across North Dakota that honors pregnancy and infant loss. Over four days, a team of runners covers more than 400 miles across North Dakota, carrying stories of love, loss, and resilience from community to community. Each runner represents more than physical endurance. They carry remembrance, awareness, and hope, helping transform miles into meaningful connection.

And right now, they’re looking for runners.

The application deadline has been extended to March 22 at 11:59 PM CST, giving more people the chance to step forward and run with purpose.

Whether you run for someone you love, someone you lost, or to support families who need to know they’re not alone, these miles can mean everything.

YOU SPEAK AND WE LISTEN

Run-cation Update

Well… that escalated quickly.

When we asked if you’d be interested in a Runday Run-cation, a whopping 88% of you said (some form of) YES!

So apparently this idea isn’t crazy after all.

It might actually be brilliant.

Hm, so this is where my thoughts go:

πŸ›³οΈ A cruise where we dock at different islands and run a race at each stop
πŸ”οΈ A destination trail-running weekend in the mountains
🌊 Destination Race somewhere warm while your friends back home are shoveling snow

Running. Adventure. Community. All in one trip.

So here’s the deal…

If we’re going to do this, we want to do it right.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll start exploring options and sharing ideas with the community. Stuff like destinations, timing, cost ranges, and what kind of Run-cation would be the most fun.

But first we want to hear from you.

Because if this happens… it won’t just be a trip.

It’ll be a Runday adventure.

What You β€œGet To” Do

By: Lindsay Paulson

Do you practice gratitude? It’s a wonderful habit for mental wellness, yet its benefits aren’t often talked about in areas like fitness and running, specifically. But it should be and I'm here to do just that.

When planning anything related to training - a run, good rest, nutrition - try this tip to help foster a gratitude mindset: Replace "have to" with "get to."

There’s power in simply reframing common thoughts like, β€œI get to go for a run,” or, β€œI get to go to bed early,” or, my favorite, β€œI get to eat this nutritious egg scramble with mushrooms, carrots, and spinach.”

Running, good sleep, nutrition - being healthy, in general, is a privilege. You don’t have to do these things, you GET to do them. Be grateful and see how the change in mindset can have a positive impact!
